INEC's Public Notice concerning the Kogi Governorship Election

According to a statement released this afternoon by INEC, the supplementary election in Kogi state will now hold on December 5th. The electoral body had on Sunday November 22nd declared the state gov election inconclusive after over 40, 000 votes were cancelled due to some election irregularities.

EFCC Nabbed Abuja Civil Servant Who Paid N60m Tithe To Redeemed Church

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a popular Abuja socialite who is also a top official of the Nigerian Prisons Service, Dr (Mrs) Imaobong Akon Esu-Nte. The suspect, a Grade Level 14 Officer with the Federal Ministry of Finance seconded to the Nigerian Prison Service as Head, Capital Accounts, was picked up Tuesday May 6 by operatives of the anti graft agency. Heartbreaking! Couple's Funeral Holds In The Same Church They Were Married ,Two Weeks After Drowning During Honeymoon

This is horrific! A newlywed couple who drowned on their honeymoon were remembered by family and friends yesterday at the same church where they married just two weeks ago.


John Rodgers, 28, and his wife Lynette, 26, drowned on October 23 after getting caught in a riptide at Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.


 The couple had married at the First Presbyterian Church in Holywood, Co Down on October 17, but yesterday - just two weeks and two days later - their loved ones returned to the church to say their final goodbyes.
