The Lagos State Government yesterday directed that the on-going
reconstruction of Ikotun-Ejigbo-Oke-Afa road should be completed on or
before September 30 to put an end to the plight of the people on the
axis.
The state government added that the road reconstruction would end a decade-long menace of flooding and erosion, which it said, was as a result of the abused use of drainages and collector drains along the corridor.

The General Manager of Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC),
Mr. Ayotunde Sodeinde gave the deadline while inspecting the road
project, which he said, was completely collapsed before the recent
intervention.
