A heavy duty trailer conveying a goods-laden container to the Apapa area on Wednesday fell off the Ojuelegba bridge, crushing a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and killing all three occupants.

He said, "Initially, when we got to the scene of the crash, eyewitnesses had told us that it was only the driver that was in the vehicle and that he escaped.
"It was only this night when they succeeded in shifting the fallen container that we discovered that there were three occupants in the jeep and they were all dead.

"The container that fell on the car has been lifted and three male adults were brought out dead. Their age ranged from 30 to 55years.
"Also, a male adult of about 25years was rescued alive from the second fairly impacted Nissan car.
